Turning 25

I just turned 25 about 10 days ago. Have been pretty busy lately so haven't got much things to rant about. But I can confidently say that my birthday was the best thing that happened this year. Although I do not get much parties and celebrations, turning 25 has to be the best thing ever. I got to spend some quality time with my beautiful girlfriend. We had planned to go to a strip club after much discussion. I thought it was a good idea to try out something different rather than the typical stay at home you do your thing, I do my thing thingy. Anyway, we were not even slightly disappointed. Bada Bing has great dancers, cozy environment, excellent music and wonderful service. We will definitely drag more friends over next time. Anyhow, that's the not the most exciting thing to have happened.

As usual I took the first train after work on a Friday evening, reached Central station around 8 and head straight to the gf's place. Boy, am I in for a surprise. The door was left ajar and there weren't any lights. I entered with a whispering Hello and out came my girlfriend and a birthday cake. There were candles, the big 25, and even a video recording. For once I was blown away and couldn't say a word. I was just speechless and didn't imagine somebody would go through the trouble to do this for me. I love you baby. I made a wish and blew out the candle.
We took a couple of photos with the housemates as well but I think they were more interested in the caramel mudcake than me LOL. Anyway, the surprise did not end. Baby took the liberty to prepare 3 fantastic home cooked dishes. It was superb! It was also the first time she'd cooked for me. I was extremely touched for the amount of effort and love she has put in.
The tofu with minced pork tasted exactly how mummy used to cook. The stir fry Kailan was excellent but nothing beats the Pork ribs soup. It was full of flavor, rich in spices, lots of ingredients and at the same time maintaining its simplicity of being homemade. She fed me till my stomach was satisfied. I am just so thankful to have someone like her by my side. We had a slice of cake to share as well and it was fucking awesome. The caramel icing on top fits perfectly with the rich sponge cake in the middle coated with chocolate on the sides. I couldn't ask for more, but I did it anyway haha. But before I could say thank you for everything, she hit me with another surprise, PRESENTS!
I don't even remember when was the last time someone has actually given me presents on my birthday. That Braun Buffel wallet was brought all the way from Taiwan when my girlfriend was having her holidays. The fresh smell of leather meant that it must have cost her a fortune. Yet again I don't remember if anyone has actually bought me something that expensive before. Thank you baby! Not to mention the wonderful card she wrote to me. Of course I am not going to reveal the contents, but it did reduce me to tears. I love you Darling...

We went to our favourite Korean Restaurant in Sydney, Arisun for dinner the next day. We got the usual; Sausage hotpot, spicy fried chicken and a jug of lemonade soju. Both of us have been craving for these dishes for more than 5 months but we couldn't have eaten the whole lot, could we? A close friend of us joined us shortly to help out with the massive feast.
Night was young, so we we spend most of our time and money at the strip club. We had the best time ever. I wanna thank you for all you have done. You are my beloved. You are my rock. You are my motivation. I love you just the way you are...

I even got a little surprise from one of our favourite places to be, Mamak. We dined in for free in celebrating my birthday.
Oh yeah, two ice cream BALLS and roti Pisang for dessert, slurpssss!!!!
